Barbara works closely with her clients to develop a long-term relationship based on a foundation of mutual trust and respect. She commits herself to: gaining a full understanding of clients’ needs, goals, priorities and concerns for the future; developing and implementing a long-term financial plan in accordance with those goals and needs; and ensuring over time that the plan is on track. Prior to becoming a financial advisor over ten years ago Barbara had a career in corporate finance and international banking in New York, London and Chicago.
Barbara devotes her time outside the office to civic and cultural interests. She is a member of both the Associate National Board and the Midwest Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League, the Steering Committee of The University of Chicago Women’s Board and the Advisory Board (former chair) of the Chicago College of Performing Arts of Roosevelt University. She is also a docent at the Museum of Contemporary Art.
Barbara received an AB from The College, The University of Chicago and an MBA with concentrations in finance and accounting from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
She lives in Chicago with her husband and dogs.
